Silverstone Events Classic Touring specialises in developing tours that can provide such an experience – and more!

For owners with a passion for a specific marque of vehicle, be it Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes- Benz, Aston Martin, BMW or the like, Classic Touring can offer packages tailored specifically to those marques. Tours include visits to respective factories, museums and various racetracks. Through our close association with these manufacturers over many years, we are able to include personalised tours and ‘money can’t buy’ opportunities not available to the general public.

Classic Touring also offers group touring for owners of various other marques of vehicle who would enjoy the experience of driving their own vehicle through Europe with like-minded enthusiasts.  For those who do not wish to take their own vehicle, but still want to be part of the Classic Touring group, we are happy to arrange hire vehicles to suit your requirements.

The routes have been specifically selected to give maximum driving pleasure combined with sensible driving distances each day and travelling, wherever possible, on the most scenic roads.  Each vehicle is provided with a “road book” displaying the daily route. Accompanying each tour is an experienced Tour Leader and competent baggage handlers to accompany the baggage vehicle.

Our touring group’s vehicles are professionally shipped and checked by marque specialists prior the owners’ arrival so all that is left to do is collect their vehicles in the United Kingdom, proceed to the Eurotunnel, cross the English Channel and begin the adventure of a lifetime! 

For the past twelve years, Silverstone Events has been drawing international clients, accompanied by their wonderful vehicles, to Australia to participate in the touring section of the world-renowned Classic Adelaide. In addition to the excitement of participating in the event, it also provides a fantastic opportunity to visit South Australia’s premier wine and tourist regions, including the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula, all of which are along the route.

To complement the entrants’ Classic Adelaide touring experience and maximise the benefits of their time in Australia, Classic Touring has developed an additional 4-State Tour of Australia to be offered in conjunction with Classic Adelaide.

This additional, two-week tour, post Classic Adelaide, departs Adelaide for Melbourne, Victoria, taking in the breathtaking scenery of one of the world’s greatest coastal drives, The Great Ocean Road. Guests enjoy a two-night stay in Melbourne before continuing their journey into the Australian Alps, via the spectacular Alpine Way. We then make our way to Canberra, the Australian Capital, before arriving in Sydney with the splendour of its famous harbour, the Opera House, glorious beaches and many other tourist delights.

At the conclusion of the tour your vehicles will depart back to their port of origin.
